I know it't too late fort this comment. but the brush file type for pc and mac is same. It's .abr file. Only thing is that u need to paste it in the brush folder of photoshop.For mac go to the Applications/photoshop/presets/brushes and paste it. U can get lots of free brushes. Just search in google.
